Our General Insurance team at DWF provides expertise in Casualty, Disease, Criminal Defence, EL/PL & RTA, and is currently seeking an Associate Solicitor to handle a caseload of criminal defence cases involving RTA prosecutions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of predominantly criminal defence cases, primarily RTA related.
  • Assessing civil personal injury defence cases where necessary.
  • Prioritising work effectively to maximise efficiency, adhering to court deadlines and client service level agreements.
  • Building internal and external relationships to develop business networks and understand the firm’s direction and client needs.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members.

What will help you succeed in this role?

Desirable Criteria:

  • 1+ years PQE, preferably within criminal defence.
  • Experience in civil defence work is desirable but not essential.
