DWF is recruiting for a Personal Assistant to join a high-performing business support function within a leading legal services organisation, working closely with Partners and Fee Earners to deliver an exceptional client experience. This role offers hybrid working, with a requirement to be onsite in our office at least 2–3 days per week, alongside flexibility and support from an experienced Business Support team in a fast-paced, professional environment. We are considering the following office locations for potential candidates – Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle or Southampton.
Responsibilities
The Personal Assistant (PA) will provide proactive, high-level support to Partners and Fee‑Earning teams, delivering a highly professional and responsive service that helps ensure the effective and efficient use of time. Acting as a trusted support partner, the PA will play a key role in enabling fee‑earning colleagues to focus on client work by managing a wide range of non‑chargeable activities, contributing directly to the delivery of a high‑quality client experience. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Partners and teams across the business, supporting day‑to‑day operations while adding real value through organisation, attention to detail, and a proactive approach that helps optimise billable time and overall team effectiveness.
What will help you succeed in this role?
- Experience in a Personal Assistant or senior administrative support role
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills with confidence supporting senior stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience of producing accurate, high-quality meeting minutes
- Experience arranging travel and processing expenses
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Desirable
- Experience supporting Partners or Fee Earners within legal or professional services
- Billing and Invoicing experience
- Experience supporting events or client hospitality
