Overview
DWF\’s Insurance team in Scotland is looking to recruit a Paralegal working in our award-winning counter-fraud team. The successful applicant will act for household name insurers and provide high quality advice on defending a wide range of pre-litigation personal injury claims where fraud is suspected. The role can be based from either of our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload for insurers of suspected fraudulent motor claims, from inception to resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
- Conduct research to support legal strategies and case development.
Essential
- Previous Paralegal experience working on personal Injury or motor claims.
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment with a volume of claims.
- Experience of fraud work would be useful but is not essential.
