DWF LLP is seeking to recruit a Paralegal with experience in litigated defender Personal Injury, Serious Injury, Large Loss, Motor, RTA or EL/PL work to join the nationally recognised insurance team, based in Scotland. The role can be based from either of our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload for insurers, with a focus on defending litigated Personal Injury, Serious Injury, Large Loss, Motor, RTA or EL/PL claims. You will work closely with Partners and Senior Associates to support the progression of their cases, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This includes drafting legal documents and instructions to experts, maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail in all written work. Additionally, you will liaise with clients and key stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and ensure smooth case progression. A key part of the role will also involve conducting thorough research to support legal strategies and case development.
What will help you succeed in this role?
- Previous Paralegal experience working on high-value Personal Injury or Serious Injury, Large Loss, Complex Loss, Catastrophic Loss, Motor, RTA or EL/PL claims.
- Previous Paralegal experience in Scotland is essential for this role.
- Experience in handling personal injury litigation (pursuer or defender).
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Background in working within a busy commercial environment.
