We’re currently recruiting two Paralegals to join our London based Casualty team on a 6‑month fixed term basis. The primary focus of these roles is to assist the team with a specific task on a major piece of litigation, making it particularly well‑suited to a law graduate or someone keen to gain practical exposure to casualty and personal injury work in a leading legal environment.

This Casualty team handles a diverse caseload of personal injury matters, including Employers’ Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Abuse claims, with case values ranging from small claims to high‑end fast track. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to attend our newly refurbished London office a proportion of the week.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the team with a major piece of litigation, including reviewing, organising and preparing documents.
  • Supporting case preparation across a varied caseload of Employers’ Liability, Public Liability matters.
  • Managing and maintaining case documentation and electronic filing systems.
  • Liaising with colleagues to ensure disclosure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Providing general paralegal and administrative support to the wider Casualty team as required.

  • A strong interest in personal injury and casualty work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage large volumes of information accurately.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
  • A law degree or legal studies background, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous exposure to disclosure exercises or litigation support (helpful but not required).
