Our Fraud team handles a variety of intricate cases across the insurance sector, and we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment with opportunities for professional growth. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with litigation on complex fraud and motor cases for a wide variety of clients. The role is hybrid, with office attendance required in Liverpool a minimum of one day per week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of litigated fraud cases (typically motor or casualty).
  • Assist senior fee earners on complex or high-value fraud matters.
  • Draft pleadings, witness statements, and prepare trial bundles.
  • Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties throughout the litigation process.
  • Use intelligence tools and databases to identify fraud patterns and support investigations.
  • Play a key role in achieving excellent outcomes for insurer clients.

Essential Qualifications

  • Previous and tangible experience handling or assisting on litigated Motor or fraud matters; Fast Track experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK legal system and civil litigation process.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and using case management software.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
