We’re seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal / Legal Executive, Solicitor to join the team. Our Fraud team is known for handling a variety of intricate cases across the insurance sector, making us the preferred choice for clients looking for innovative and practical solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with litigation on complex fraud and motor cases for a wide variety of clients. The role is hybrid, with office attendance required in Liverpool a minimum of 1-day per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of litigated fraud cases (typically motor or casualty).
- Assist senior fee earners on complex or high-value fraud matters.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and prepare trial bundles.
- Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties throughout the litigation process.
- Use intelligence tools and databases to identify fraud patterns and support investigations.
- Play a key role in achieving excellent outcomes for insurer clients.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- Previous and tangible experience handling/assisting on litigated Motor or fraud matters, Fast Track experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the UK legal system and civil litigation process.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and using case management software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
