We’re seeking a motivated Paralegal to support the team on litigated matters. Our Causation Fraud team is known for handling a variety of intricate cases across the insurance sector, making us the preferred choice for clients looking for innovative and practical solutions. As a Paralegal you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with complex fraud and motor litigation cases for a wide variety of clients. The role is hybrid, with office attendance required in Liverpool a minimum of 1-day per week.
Responsibilities- Assist fee earners with a diverse caseload of motor claims.
- Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
- Maintain accurate records and case files using the firm’s case management system.
- Liaise with clients and external parties, providing updates and ensuring case progression.
- Review and assess motor insurance claims, identifying potential fraud indicators.
- Collaborate with clients, insurers, and other parties to obtain necessary evidence and documentation.
- Research to support legal strategies and case development.
- Previous paralegal experience handling in your own right or assisting on fraud/motor insurance claims, preferably with exposure to highways/property related cases.
- Strong knowledge of the UK legal system and civil litigation process.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and using case management software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
