DWF are looking to recruit a Claims Assistant to join the Team. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to expand their career in legal administration with exposure to internal and external stakeholders working with a supportive and collegiate team. In this role you will be responsible for the general e-mail inbox and 0800 number, ensuring high levels of service delivery, both internally and externally. To assist Claims Handlers with straightforward tasks and support the management of claims. While this role offers the opportunity for full-remote working, there may be on occasion the need to travel to your nearest England based office.
Responsibilities
- To proactively review incoming e-mails and voicemails from a general inbox account considering and taking appropriate actions ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- To support Claims Handlers with tasks to enable efficient management of their workloads.
- Undertake data input exercises where instructed to assist with the production of accurate management information for the Client.
- To work flexibly in adjusting to changes in priority of workload; Achievement of individual KPI's and contribution to team performance at a high level, including financial and non-financial measures where applicable.
- To research solutions to problems/issues on cases/projects to develop your own technical knowledge.
- Generate ideas for implementation which develop new ways of working and challenge the status quo.
- To be proactive in problem solving on cases through identifying potential issues and solutions, always adding value to the case/project.
- Full engagement in the Firm's Performance Review cycle.
- To demonstrate the Firm's Winning Behaviours, delivering a commitment to the firms values and CSR agenda.
