DWF are seeking a Pensions Solicitor to join our highly regarded Pensions team. Our Pensions practice is recognised for providing practical, commercial advice to a diverse client base, including trustees, employers and pension providers. This is an opportunity to work within a collaborative team, where pensions lawyers undertake a broad mix of pensions and pensions‑related work. You will work closely with colleagues across our corporate, tax, employment, dispute resolution, finance and regulatory teams to deliver a fully integrated service. You will gain exposure to a broad range of advisory work while developing your expertise in a supportive and forward‑thinking environment. We welcome applications from newly qualified solicitors who have completed a seat in pensions or an enthusiastic learner, as well as those who have recently qualified into a pensions team. The role will be based in our Glasgow office.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising trustees, employers and stakeholders on all aspects of UK pensions law.
  • Supporting on scheme governance, compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Advising on pensions aspects of corporate transactions, restructures and funding arrangements.
  • Assisting clients with managing pension liabilities and long‑term risk strategy.
  • Drafting and reviewing scheme documentation and member communications.
  • Supporting matters involving SIPP and SSAS arrangements.
  • Working closely with colleagues in other DWF teams.
  • Building strong, trusted client relationships through clear and pragmatic advice.
