The role can be worked from Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of Motor Personal Injury and Fraudclaims, from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and liaising with experts.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential:

  • Qualified Associate or Senior Associate with a minimum of 2+ years PQE (Post‑Qualified Experience) inMotor, Fraud, RTA or Personal Injury claims.
    • We will potential consider NQ Solicitor's that have experience or trained in these areas.
  • Strong knowledge of Motor, Fraud, RTA or Personal Injuryinsurance law, including civil procedure and litigation processes.
  • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Scottish qualified legal professional with previous Scotttish law experience is ESSENTIALfor this role.
    • We are unable to consider candidate's that have UK & Wales experience.

Desirable:

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in handling high‑value or complex claims is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and to work effectively under pressure.
