As a Chartered Legal Executive in our Complex Credit Hire team, you will manage a caseload of litigated credit hire claims, often of high value and technical complexity. Youβll work closely with major insurers and commercial clients, delivering strategic, commercially minded legal advice and representing them throughout the litigation process.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a diverse caseload of complex litigated credit hire claims
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements
- Engage in pre-action protocols, negotiations, and settlement discussions
- Represent clients in court where necessary, instructing counsel as appropriate
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and offices
- Support junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing

- Qualified Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) or Solicitor with a strong litigation background
