DWF is seeking to recruit an Associate to join our expanding Scottish Real Estate team. Our Real Estate Team deals with all aspects of real estate legal issues, including high-value acquisitions and disposals, portfolio management, development and funding matters relating to all kinds of real estate investments. We act for occupiers, developers, funders and professionals across different sectors. We also work with landlords and tenants within the institutional, telecoms, corporate, retail and public sectors.
The wider Real Estate Team at DWF is highly regarded by the independent directories Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 and is regarded by market commentators as one of the leading practices in the UK market in recent years. You will be joining a supportive team dedicated to excellent client service. The successful candidate will gain a varied and interesting commercial real estate experience with exposure to clients on a regular basis. This role will be based in our Edinburgh office with the option of our hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate technical and commercial expertise to deliver results within required time frames.
- Provide the highest service level to external clients while understanding business needs/changes for internal clients.
- Utilise relevant commercial real estate experience and demonstrate confidence in client relationships.
- Exhibit strong drafting, presentation and client handling skills.

- Previous general commercial real estate experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage your own caseload effectively.
