Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised and results-oriented Operations Manager to drive Property Management across the entire portfolio of the acquired Dwelly agencies. This role involves the development of the central team of Property Managers dealing with properties as well as the development of the network of local maintenance providers compliant with Dwelly SLAs and level of service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be analytically minded, and demonstrate a proven track record in people and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Property Management team and process development

  • Build a team of UK-based and remote Property Managers to deliver excellent service to our landlords and tenants, staying on top of UK compliance requirements
  • Ensure efficient operations, achieving a target of 700-1000 properties per property manager over the course of 12 months
  • Build learning and training processes for new Property Managers
  • Develop robust operational processes, rethinking the industry status quo in Property Management where the average resolution time for tenant requests is more than 40 days.

2. Participate in Product roll-outs and development

  • Ensure smooth roll-out of all new product features released weekly
  • Collect and quantify feedback from Property Managers, structure and present to Product Managers as inputs for further product development

3. Develop a network of local Maintenance Providers

  • Develop educational materials for Maintenance Providers to ensure a full understanding of how to work with Dwelly
  • Partner up with existing Maintenance Providers and bring new ones to build a reliable and cost-efficient network to deal with all our client requests and compliance matters
  • Maximise revenue stream from Contractor Commissions

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-3 years in operational roles, ideally with a consulting background (Senior Analyst or Associate level). Strong experience in structured environments is essential, as well as experience in managing teams.
  • Skills: Exceptionally organised, analytically minded, and detail-oriented; Exceptional people skills to manage remote teams

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in operational tech businesses, with a demonstrated ability to develop new operational processes from scratch. Ideally, developing at a team of people doing similar jobs: customer support, dark store operations, etc
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a “get things done” attitude and excellent attention to detail.

Growth Potential: As with any startup, growth happens due to the growth of the team below you. This role is already in the top 15 positions within the company. In 2-3 years from now, you will probably be managing a team of ~1000 people delivering the core service our clients pay us money for.
