Dwelly is a UK-based, AI-enabled lettings and property management platform, growing through a roll-up strategy acquiring estate agencies. The company leverages two arms: i) acquiring existing letting agencies, effectively buying its highly sticky, recurring revenue-type landlords portfolios, and ii) building a top-notch technology to automate tenant management, payments, and post-rental property maintenance. The company seamlessly integrates AI services to automate all business processes within brick-and-mortar real estate agencies, integrating them into a tech-enabled digital letting platform in two months to radically improve user experiences and increase efficiency.
We’re looking for an M&A / Corp Dev Associate. You’ll sit at the heart of Dwelly’s growth engine, supporting both acquisitions and fundraising. This isn’t corporate M&A: we bring a startup mindset, iterate constantly, and give people room to shape the process. You’ll own the analytical heavy lifting across deals and fundraising, pressure-test investment cases, and help build our equity story, working closely with the Head of Corp Dev, Head of M&A, and the Founders. This is a high-impact role with a front-row seat to building one of the UK’s most ambitious proptech platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Power the acquisition engine: You’ll own the analytical workstream on each deal end-to-end, from first assessment of strategic fit through diligence and approval. You’ll keep the ‘does this help us scale in the right way?’ question front and centre.
- Help shape the call: You’ll turn what we learn into decision-ready outputs - short approval notes, meeting prep and crisp summaries that make it clear whether a deal advances our growth strategy.
Alongside deals, you’ll support fundraising: prepping for investor meetings, owning models/analysis, and helping to sharpen how we tell the story of Dwelly - what we’re building, why we’ll win, and how capital accelerates growth.
Qualifications & Preferred Background- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- Higher degree education from a top-tier university.
- Startup mentality: resilience, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-centric mindset: focus on delivering value to end-users or clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills - ability to approach challenges logically and propose practical solutions.
- 3–5 years’ experience in investment banking (M&A), strategy consulting (CDD/transactions), PE/investing/family offices, or corporate development in a high-growth environment.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills (comfortable building models from scratch and stress-testing assumptions).
- Strong commercial judgement and curiosity - you naturally ask “what really drives value here?”
- Highly organised, able to run multiple workstreams and deliver to tight deadlines.
Competitive salary with the potential for equity options based on performance, recognising exceptional contributions to our integration success.
What is it like being a Dwell-er? Feel free to check out Dwelly Core Principles. That’s about what we believe in, how we operate and make decisions. What we offer is not a fancy office or a static workplace. Instead, this is solving one of the world’s most complex problems in the largest consumer industry (residential rentals), to improve the experience for over 30% of households in the UK that live in rental homes.
This is about disrupting the largest, most antiquated industry in the world, with one of the strongest operational and technical teams that exist in the UK and the EU. We work hard, and we shoot for extremely ambitious results. But we want people to be proud of what they’ve built and be able to look back and say one day “hell yeah, that was me that did it all.”
