Job Title: VP Merchandising Consultant (Merchandising Consultant for Premium Activewear Brand)

Location: Remote/Flexible, with travel for on‑site collaboration. International travel to Europe required. Start between December 2025 and February 2026.

Position Overview

As a Merchandising Consultant, you will play a critical role in defining the product strategy, curating a compelling product assortment, and establishing a strong brand presence in the premium activewear market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify key trends, consumer preferences, and opportunities within the premium activewear space.
  • Analyze competitors’ product offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns to inform product development and positioning.
  • Collaborate with design and product development teams to influence the direction and aesthetic of the product line.
  • Develop a product assortment strategy that aligns with brand vision and meets market demand for premium activewear.
  • Identify key materials and technologies that enhance product performance and sustainability.
  • Analyze sales data and consumer feedback to refine product offerings and inform future collections.
  • Participate in regular meetings to provide insights and ensure alignment across departments.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of merchandising experience with leading athleisure brands and a global perspective.
  • Deep understanding of the premium activewear market and consumer trends.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for informed decision‑making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment with a focus on results.
  • Passionate about the active lifestyle and fashion industry.
