The Sales Manager supports the store's management team by implementing the appropriate field action plans in order to achieve the objectives. He/she is the reference point for sales and customer relations within the boutique and supports the team in order to bring the brand's Signature to life. He/she is an ambassador of our House.
Missions:
- Sales & Customer Relations: Be the customer relations/sales referent within the shop; ensure the best welcome and service to customers according to the current rules; take care of customers and develop sales: introduce the products and the brand's universe to customers, define their needs, be a force of proposal with regard to our product offer, finalize sales, develop cross-selling, multiple and complementary sales, ensure product exchanges, take care of special orders, etc.; develop customers' loyalty and the store's customer file; allow each customer to immerse themselves in the brand's universe, by living not only an excellent shopping and discovery experience, but also a daring and entertaining journey.
- Business: Analyse the sales results of the store (best sellers, slow movers, etc.) and feed the information back to the Store Manager for the buying sessions; analyse the store KPIs and individual KPIs (turnover, average basket, conversion rate, etc.) to support the sales team, under the guidance of the Store Manager, in order to achieve the objectives set.
- Store Ambassador: Work with the Client Development & Trade Marketing department to develop and maintain a relationship of excellence with the discerning client.
- Visual Merchandising: Be responsible for the presentation of the products' guidelines in the store and the image of the House; ensure that the visual merchandising guidelines are followed by the sales team; be the relay point for the visual merchandising team in the store.
- Store Operations: Provide assistance to the store management team for any operational support needs (e.g. opening and closing of the shop, etc.); report data & situations on the ground to the Store Manager.
Profile:
You have a commercial background and 5 to 10 years of experience as a senior salesperson in the retail and luxury sectors, ideally at Harrods. Excellent presentation and oral/written communication skills. Strong product orientation, customer relations and business orientation. Proactive, team player, enthusiastic, versatile, rigorous and adaptable. Fluent in English. A second language would be ideal.
