Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role as an Electrical Specialist, based in St Helens. The role involves the design, installation, and testing of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements. The Electrical Specialist will oversee the management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, support power generation projects, and contribute to quality assurance processes. Day‑to‑day tasks include evaluating electrical needs, coordinating with teams on‑site, and providing technical expertise to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electricity and Electrical Engineering
• Hands‑on experience with Electrical Design and Power Generation
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Electrical Equipment
• Attention to detail and understanding of compliance, safety standards, and quality assurance in industrial and commercial solar installations
• Excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills
• Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in site management or leadership within the energy sector is a plus
• Relevant certifications in electrical standards and safety regulations are advantageous
