We’re hiring a Principal Frontend Engineer to join a Front Office Technology team at a leading investment management firm. The role sits directly alongside portfolio managers and quantitative researchers, building applications that support investment decision making in real time.
Here, you’ll be responsible for designing and building data-intensive frontend applications used across investment, risk, and research workflows. Work will include:
- Developing complex dashboards and analytics tools
- Handling large, frequently updating datasets
- Building highly responsive UIs in React and TypeScript
- Working closely with end users to iterate on functionality and usability
- Contributing to frontend architecture, standards, and engineering direction
You’ll be part of a team delivering systems that are used daily in live investment processes, with regular interaction and feedback from users. The firm is investing heavily in AI across both:
- Investment workflows, including research and decision support
- Engineering productivity, including tooling and development processes
