We are recruiting on behalf of our client who are a large group, made up of 4 pump companies in different sectors. They are seeking a reliable, hardworking and experienced Pump Engineer to join their team. This role involves assisting with various installation and maintenance tasks. You would be working on Booster Pumps and Submersible Pumps. The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments. Experience in this field is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of various types of pumps in the South of England.
- Attending sites to complete routine service maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Conducting routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assisting with any other tasks required by the business.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects within deadlines.
- Maintaining a tidy work environment to promote safety and productivity.
Experience:
- Previous experience is essential.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge and the use of hand tools or power tools is advantageous.
- Experience of pump installation and maintenance.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions are required.
- A proactive attitude with good organisational skills and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
- Driving Licence is essential.
Pay: £45k-£50k per annum. This is a field service role, covering in and around the South East and the M25.
