The Lead Enterprise Architect will report to the Chief Architect and will work in a team consisting of Lead Enterprise Architects, Lead Technical Architects and Lead Solution Architects. The role plays a pivotal part within the Architecture Management Office, leading the overall direction of business and digital capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Providing enterprise solutions to specific business problems and challenges across one or more Enterprise Architecture domains.
- Assisting with requests for new Digital Transformation work and supporting the building of business cases.
- Being responsible for the design and communication of high‑level structures to enable and guide the design and development of solutions that meet current and future business needs, encompassing changes to service, process, organisation and operating models.
- Assessing how trends in society and industry practices might impact the organisation.
- Working with people outside of your organisation to inform policies, strategies and standards.
- Anticipating changes to policy and building resilience through your architecture work.
- Coaching others in identifying important trends.
Person specification:
Required experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing and executing enterprise‑wide architecture principles, standards, blueprints, roadmaps and patterns that facilitate the delivery of solutions and drive business value.
- Extensive track record in strategising and executing transformation initiatives, with hands‑on involvement in business change efforts leveraging cloud environments and integrating various products and cloud services within dynamic ecosystems.
- Practical exposure to implementing Enterprise Architecture frameworks in real‑world business transformation scenarios.
- Proficiency with well‑known frameworks such as TOGAF and/or Zachman and modelling notations such as Archimate, UML or BPMN.
- Proficiency in crafting strategic visions and roadmaps, distilling clarity from intricate scenarios and expressing these insights logically.
- Experience in enacting and undertaking architecture governance and assurance activities.
- Strong strategic mindset and experience in strategic planning.
- Robust analytical abilities, encompassing the capacity to gather, analyse and interpret data to inform evidence‑driven decision‑making.
- Demonstrated dynamic leadership, motivational prowess and strong interpersonal skills that enable seamless collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
