We are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Maintenance Manager to join our Electrical Maintenance Group (EMG). In this newly created role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of critical electrical systems across our unique and varied commercial estates.

Reporting to the Senior Electrical Maintenance Manager, you will support the delivery of high-quality maintenance operations, manage external suppliers, and contribute to the execution of engineering projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all relevant health, safety, regulatory, and statutory standards, while driving continuous improvement across maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring all 3rd party suppliers, within electrical engineering, and evaluating their adherence to policies related to performance, compliance and safety, working with them to bring best in class solutions to DVLA in a timely, cost-efficient manner
  • Providing effective management relating to less complex estate daily electrical matters affecting the efficient running of the Agency's sites
  • Being responsible for reporting of regular and timely information to the Senior Electrical Maintenance Manager
