This role sits where legal project management, pricing strategy and client account development converge - a unique opportunity to drive how a leading international law firm delivers value to its most significant clients. You'll act as a trusted strategic partner, working closely with partners, workstream leads and senior client stakeholders to ensure the efficient and profitable delivery of legal services across complex, high-value portfolios.
Role Responsibilities:
- Owning pricing and fee strategy across complex client portfolios, including alternative and value-based arrangements
- Taking day-to-day responsibility for high-value client matters, coordinating across legal teams, project managers, and client stakeholders
- Building and maintaining financial dashboards, client extranets, and Power BI/Excel reporting tools
- Running fortnightly financial reviews and translating data into clear, actionable guidance for workstream leads
- Keeping a close eye on spend versus budget across all workstreams, with forward-looking projections and risk flagging
- Leading biannual client strategy sessions and keeping weekly relationship meetings on track and outcome-focused
- Spotting opportunities to introduce AI and technology solutions that genuinely improve matter management and reporting
- Working cross-functionally with Pricing, Innovation, BD, and Knowledge Management to move firm strategy forward
Skills Requirements:
- Proven background in legal project management, pricing or strategy & execution within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of alternative fee arrangements and law firm profitability metrics
- Experience building Power BI and Excel-based financial reports and client-facing dashboards
- Confident operating at senior stakeholder level, both internally and directly with clients
- Excellent governance, reporting, and communication skills across complex, multi-workstream engagements
- A continuous improvement mindset, with experience driving AI or technology-led process change
