This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional to join a team focused on delivering a secure, reliable, and user-friendly IT infrastructure across a global legal environment.

The Infrastructure Services Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day management of infrastructure topologies, including servers, storage devices, firewalls, WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, and unified communications. The role also includes assisting with infrastructure projects, from planning and communication through to implementation and reporting, ensuring all systems operate in line with industry best practices and the firm’s IT policies.

  • Monitor and manage systems including Windows Server, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, VMware, VxRail, Cato Platform, Rubrik, Commvault, Juniper Mist, and APC.
  • Analyse vulnerabilities using SEIM tools (Rapid7) and manage patching across servers, appliances, and switches.
  • Ensure security controls are deployed and maintained across infrastructure in partnership with the IT Security Team.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, manage change requests, and maintain accurate system documentation and IT Wiki.
  • Support colleagues with training and technical guidance to ensure a consistent and high-quality IT service.
  • Respond to emergency outages and provide out-of-hours technical escalation support as needed.
  • Liaise with vendors and third parties for managed services and technical escalations under the guidance of the IT Manager (Infrastructure).

The Ideal Candidate

  • Technical Skills: Broad IT knowledge with expertise in servers, networking, firewalls, cloud services (Azure & M365), and end-user devices. Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
  • Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented, reliable, and collaborative. Business-like, professional, and focused on delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Business Skills: Excellent communicator with empathy for end users, able to align IT solutions to business needs.

Key Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in IT system or infrastructure administration in a complex global IT environment.
  • Experience in ITIL operational processes; ISO 27001 or equivalent environment preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, prioritisation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
