Are you a strategic leader with a strong background in Legal Operations and Consulting? This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the Legal Operations service line within a highly respected international law firm, working closely with experts in Legal Tech and AI.

The Role:

As Head of Legal Operations Consulting, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, driving business growth, and leading high-impact client engagements. This is a senior leadership position that combines business development, client delivery, and team leadership to ensure the continued success and expansion of the firm’s Legal Operations consulting offering.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Strategic Leadership

• Develop and lead a high-performing Legal Operations Consulting practice, ensuring integration with the firm’s broader legal services.
• Create and refine a market-leading client proposition, offering innovative and practical solutions.

🔹 Business Development & Client Engagement

• Drive the growth of the Legal Operations service line, identifying new opportunities and expanding the firm’s client base.
• Build strong client relationships, lead pitches, and oversee commercial negotiations.
• Raise the firm’s external profile through thought leadership, events, and networking.

🔹 Project Delivery & Team Leadership

• Oversee and build a highly skilled delivery team, including both permanent and networked consultants.
• Develop best-in-class tools, methodologies, and frameworks to support client projects.
• Lead major client engagements, acting as an executive sponsor where required.

🔹 Financial & Business Performance

• Manage revenue, profitability, and overall business performance for the service line.
• Develop and mentor a growing team, ensuring professional development and high-quality service delivery.

Key Requirements:

We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially minded leader with:

✔ A proven track record in client and business development, with the ability to generate and close new opportunities.

✔ Strong experience in Legal Operations, either in-house or as an external consultant, ideally with a focus on optimisation and transformation.

✔ A management consulting skillset, with the ability to develop strategic solutions and deliver value to clients.

✔ Excellent leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills.

✔ A collaborative and innovative mindset, with a practical and hands-on approach.
