Finance Systems Analyst

Senior Consultant at DVF Recruitment (Career Legal company) – Financial Systems Analyst – Leading London Law Firm.

We\’re partnered with a leading law firm seeking an experienced Financial Systems Analyst to support day‑to‑day operation, optimisation and development of its finance systems. The role requires a one‑day office presence per week and Aderant experience is essential.

Base pay range: £50,000.00 – £70,000.00.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Aderant Expert, eBilling Hub and BillFiler, ensuring systems meet business requirements.
• Support and maintain all finance/practice management systems and associated SQL environments.
• Identify opportunities for enhancements and assist with analysis, development, testing and implementation.
• Provide support to users across Finance, HR, BD, Secretarial teams and fee earners.
• Assist with upgrades, patches, fixes and wider Finance/IT projects.
• Run month‑end and year‑end system routines.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and run T‑SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Analyse workflows and support process improvement initiatives.
• Document processes, procedures and policies for internal use and audit compliance.
• Work with third‑party providers and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues.

Skills & Experience Required

• 5+ years’ experience with finance or accounting systems, ideally within a law firm or professional services.
• Strong SQL/SSRS skills, with the ability to run queries independently.
• Ability to source and analyse data for ad‑hoc business requests.
