My client, a leading UK-based international law firm, is seeking a driven professional to enhance the efficiency of their legal service delivery through process optimisation and the implementation of legal technology.

This role is open to candidates based in or near our Birmingham or Manchester office locations.

The Role

As a Legal Operations Analyst, you’ll play a key role in transforming and streamlining legal workflows.

  • Collaborate with lawyers to map processes, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements in legal service delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective processes to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Recommend best practices to improve workflows and client engagement.
  • Work closely with the Senior Product Manager and Legal Technologists to evaluate and recommend legal tech solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of technology into workflows to maximise its potential.
  • Analyse management information to assess the effectiveness of legal tech and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Act as a key liaison between legal teams, technologists, and business stakeholders.
  • Support training and change management initiatives for new tools and processes.

The Candidate

To succeed in this role, my client is looking for someone with:

  • At least 12 months of experience in a process improvement or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in workflow mapping and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or a similar methodology (desirable but not essential).
  • Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualisation platforms (a plus).
