This role will establish and lead a global procurement function within a growing professional/financial services organisation. The Procurement Manager will define and execute procurement strategy, oversee all purchasing activity, and ensure strong governance, cost optimisation, supplier performance, and risk management.

Reporting to the Director of Legal and working closely with senior stakeholders internationally, the role will own the full vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, contract negotiation, renewals, and ongoing supplier management. This is a newly created, standalone position requiring a hands-on, experienced procurement professional who can operate autonomously and build scalable processes from the ground up. There is significant scope to shape the function and grow with the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, implement, and manage the global procurement strategy
  • Own the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, renewals, and performance management
  • Lead contract review, negotiation, co-terming, and pricing optimisation
  • Design and run robust RFI and RFP processes, including templates and governance
  • Review Statements of Work and supplier proposals
  • Create and maintain a renewal and renegotiation roadmap
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align procurement with business strategy
  • Track contracts, supplier documentation, and ongoing supplier relationships
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a centralised procurement role within professional or financial services
  • Strong track record in contract negotiation and co-terming complex agreements
  • Ability to build and run a procurement function independently
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with attention to detail
  • Experience working in international, geographically dispersed teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Degree-level education; professional procurement qualification preferred
