A global law firm with a strong reputation for innovation and collaboration is looking to hire an IT Business Relationship Manager to act as the key interface between the business and IT. This is a highly visible, relationship-led role where you’ll work closely with Practice Groups and Business Services teams to ensure technology strategy, delivery and change are tightly aligned to business and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary relationship lead between IT and assigned Practice Groups / Business Services teams
- Capture, shape and prioritise business requirements, translating them into clear, deliverable technology initiatives
- Develop and maintain IT roadmaps and business cases, ensuring alignment with firm strategy and budget
- Guide new technology initiatives through governance and prioritisation forums
- Work closely with Architecture, Projects and Delivery teams to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and successfully implemented
- Support change management and adoption, ensuring new technology is embedded and delivering value
- Present technology opportunities and progress to senior stakeholders in clear, non-technical language
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in a Business Relationship Manager, IT Business Partner or similar role, ideally within professional services
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leadership
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and balance demand with delivery capacity
- Experience shaping business cases, portfolios of change and technology roadmaps
- Comfortable operating across IT delivery, operations and service excellence functions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technology into business impact
- Experience working in law firms or regulated environments is advantageous (but not essential)
