ABOUT DVC | Roof Maintenance Reactive & Planned

DVC is an established commercial roofing contractor with over 30 years of industry experience.

As part of our continued expansion, we are developing our nationwide Reactive & Planned Roof Maintenance division, providing commercial property owners, facilities management companies and national organisations with a reliable, professionally managed roof maintenance service.

Our services include emergency roof repairs, reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, roof inspections and larger remedial roofing works.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to recruit an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Manager to play a key role in expanding our nationwide maintenance division.

This is an opportunity for an experienced individual to help develop a growing business, establish long-term client relationships and secure national reactive and planned maintenance contracts.

The successful candidate will have the ability to identify opportunities, engage with senior decision-makers and convert relationships into profitable, long-term business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and secure new reactive and planned roof maintenance contracts throughout the UK.




• Develop relationships with facilities management companies, managing agents, commercial property owners and national organisations.




• Target clients managing multiple properties and national property portfolios.




• Promote DVC's nationwide reactive maintenance services, including our structured service level agreements (SLAs).




• Arrange and attend client meetings, presentations and networking events.




• Develop opportunities for planned preventative maintenance agreements and recurring contracts.




• Identify opportunities for larger roofing refurbishment and replacement projects.




• Manage prospective clients from initial introduction through to securing contracts.




• Work closely with the operational management team to ensure client expectations and service commitments are achievable.




• Maintain an organised sales pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities, meetings and secured contracts.




• Support tender submissions, framework opportunities and commercial proposals where required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are particularly interested in individuals who have:

• Proven experience in business development within commercial roofing, facilities management, building maintenance or property services.




• An established network of industry contacts and relationships with key decision-makers.




• Experience securing maintenance contracts, service agreements or national accounts.




• A strong understanding of commercial property maintenance and client requirements.




• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.




• The confidence to engage with senior management, property directors and facilities management teams.




• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.




• A proven record of generating new business and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
