Founded 20 years ago, and headquartered in Chicago, the DV group has grown to approximately 600 people operating throughout North America, Europe, the UAE, and Asia. DV affiliates include two broker dealers, a futures commission merchant, and a registered investment adviser.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary support for the trading desks, handling ad-hoc queries from traders and stakeholders.
- Perform daily PnL reconciliation and reporting, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor pricing and risk, identifying and escalating issues where necessary.
- Serve as the first point of contact for operational and trade-related issues.
- Investigate breaks across internal systems, brokers, and exchanges, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Contribute to process improvements and controls to reduce manual work and operational risk.
- Work on data-driven projects to improve reporting, transparency, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in trading, operations, or a data-focused role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to debug issues across data, systems, and workflows.
- Hands-on experience using Python and/or SQL to work with and analyze data.
- Interest in trading and energy markets.
- Ability to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced, real-time environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with traders and stakeholders.
- Experience with or interest in automating workflows.
