Role Description
This is a full‑time role for an Interior Designer based in the office located in Cannock. You will work on designing and managing projects from brief to completion on sites around the country. You will be working as an integral part of the design team, both running your own projects and working as part of a team.
Your day‑to‑day tasks include developing concepts and producing design presentations; space planning, outline CAD drawings and technical drawings; liaising with clients throughout the design and construction process; attending site visits and working with the FF&E suppliers to achieve projects on time and on budget.
Requirements
- Interior Design or other relevant degree.
- 2+ years’ experience of designing hospitality interiors and demonstrating a good level of understanding of technical and operational requirements for this type of venue.
- Good technical writing, client‑facing and communication skills.
- Good understanding of building regulations.
- Proficiency in Autocad, Photoshop & InDesign.
- Well‑organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well‑disciplined and commercially astute.
- A team player with a ‘can‑do’ attitude who is diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible.
- Full driving licence
Experience in project management and a portfolio of work showing a range of prior design experience would be beneficial.
