Duvo helps large enterprises map, optimise and execute the long-running, messy operational work that runs across their systems — ERPs, portals, email, spreadsheets, calls. We sell into Heads of Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and IT at large retailers and FMCG brands. New deals land at €100k–€250k ARR and grow materially through expansion.
We're hiring a Talent Partner to own how Duvo hires as we scale from seed to Series A. This is the first dedicated talent hire. You'll run hiring end-to-end across engineering and go-to-market — managing our agency partners, owning the screen, and making sure the people who reach our hiring managers actually clear the bar. You’ll work directly with the founders.
What you’ll do:
- Own roles end-to-end. Open the role, run the process, close the offer. Across engineering and GTM, you’re accountable for the hire landing, not just the funnel looking healthy.
- Run the agency bench. Brief agencies properly, hold them to our bar, and manage several in parallel. Cut the ones that send noise, scale the ones that deliver. You’re the quality gate between agency pipeline and our hiring managers’ time.
- Own the screen. Every candidate who reaches a hiring manager has been through you first. Strong screening calls, clear written notes, honest pass or fail. You’d rather reject a maybe than waste a loop.
- Drive the process to close. Keep loops moving, candidates warm, and offers landing. Time-to-close and conversion are yours to report on and yours to fix.
- Run an AI‑first hiring stack. We use AI across screening, candidate research, interview transcripts and prep briefs, with Ashby underneath. You’ll own that system and make each loop faster and sharper than the last.
Who you are:
- 4+ years in talent or recruiting at a startup, with real technical recruiting experience.
- You’ve managed agency relationships and you know the difference between a good agency partner and an expensive one.
- A genuine bar‑raiser. You’ve owned screening for both technical and GTM roles, and you’re trusted to make the pass or fail call without a hiring manager second‑guessing it.
- Technically literate. You can read a GitHub profile, understand a stack, and hold a credible first conversation with an engineer. You don’t need to code, but you can’t be bluffing in that call.
- Operator brain. You read funnel data without flinching, separate signal from luck, and ship faster than feels comfortable.
- Comfortable working directly with founders. We move quickly, change our minds, and expect you to push back when something doesn’t make sense.
Nice to have:
- Creative, AI‑driven sourcing on top of the agency motion — outbound talent campaigns, or using AI to surface candidates the agencies miss.
- Experience hiring in the AI space.
- Experience as the first talent hire at a company, building the function out.
What we offer:
- Competitive salary plus equity. We share comp ranges on the first call.
- Seed-stage company backed by Index Ventures ($15M seed), led by our founder and CEO Tom Cupr, who previously founded one of Europe's largest online grocery retailers.
- Full ownership of how Duvo hires. You’ll be building the function with the Operations team.
- Remote‑first across Europe, with quarterly offsites in Prague.
How we hire:
- Recruiter screen
- 45‑min intro call with the hiring manager — company overview and brief introductions
- 45‑min follow‑up call with the hiring manager — deeper on your background
- Working session: we give you a real candidate pool for an open Duvo role and you walk us through your screen — who clears the bar, who doesn’t, and why
- Final conversation with the founders
We aim to close the loop in under 3 weeks. We're a small team building something hard. If that sounds like the right kind of problem, we'd like to talk.
