New Business Sales Manager – Industrial & Waste Services – Recession proof! SME GOLD
Negotiable £ basic | £70k uncapped OTE | Company car | Min 3 days a week out winning work - 1-2 wfh - Depot
You won't be managed. You'll be backed. This is a role for someone with fire in their belly — a proper new business animal who wants the freedom to go and build something, not sit in a depot waiting to be told what to do. If you need a manager hovering over your shoulder, this isn't for you. If you've got the get-up-and-go to spot an opportunity, pick up the phone and turn it into a deal, read on.
The company – UK SME vibes, with international sites and reach! An International environmental and crisis management business — but the bit you'll be selling is grounded, practical and in demand: industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, high-pressure jetting, waste management and big planned site projects for refineries, chemical plants, utilities and manufacturers. They're a serious operation with the kit, the engineers and the reputation to back you up. But the team you'll join runs tight and lean — close-knit, no corporate nonsense, decisions made fast. You'll have the muscle of a global group behind you and the feel of a tight SME around you. Best of both worlds.
The role: New business new business. You're out on the road three days a week, in front of customers, opening doors and building a pipeline that's yours. Warm leads get fed through for you to chase, but the real money is in what you go and create yourself — the accounts nobody else has spotted, the relationships you build from a cold start and grow into something that lasts.
- Three days (or more) a week out on the road, the rest however suits the work
- Book your own appointments, run your own diary, own your own patch
- No fixed territory — but you don't tread on a colleague's toes; closer to the lead, it's theirs
- Land new accounts and grow them — the small ones you bring in today are the big ones you bank tomorrow
- Deals range from £1k to 10K but could be up to £500k; minimum order value £2,500
What you'll bring:
- An entrepreneurial streak — you think like an owner, not an employee
- Genuine drive and personality — you can walk into a room cold and walk out with a relationship
- A track record of finding and winning new business, ideally in industrial, waste, environmental or technical services
- The discipline to manage yourself — because nobody here is going to do it for you
- The hunger to build something and be rewarded properly when you do.
The package:
- ~£50,000 basic (negotiable)
- ~£70,000 OTE — and the ceiling's higher for the right performer
- ~ Company car or allowance
- ~ Realistic, uncapped earning potential — top reps here have banked £7k commission in a single month
- ~ The freedom to run your role your way.
One thing: You'll need to live within 90 minutes of Wrexham. Beyond that, where you are is up to you — this is a role built on output, not attendance.
