The Role:
In a nutshell, you will provide operational direction, leadership, and man management, supporting the Operations Director in all aspects of production management operations and team leadership. The Director will be looking for you to improve on the work he has done and to implement lean manufacturing techniques, striving for perfection and always looking for improvements.
The role is suited to someone who has managed production managers or team leaders and has worked with health and safety, quality, and all aspects of a small commercial support team. Doubling the turnover in the next 5 years is the requirement, and the opportunity to grow into the Operations Director role is very likely.
The Candidate:
It is essential that you are from a manufacturing background. Please do not apply if you are from any other sector, as this is a manufacturing, production, and operations leadership role. You will have experience of growing teams, managing team leaders, and a small management team, with a proven track record of improving manufacturing environments. You will be well versed in all things QHSE.
You will be dynamic, entrepreneurial, and have brilliant experience of growing small teams. You will be an expert in operations, production, and continuous improvement techniques. You must have worked in a small manufacturing business but also have experience working in a larger business; the mix is important. You must have 5 years of experience at this level in a manufacturing operations role.
