We are looking for experienced, capable, friendly carers to work in a beautiful setting, part of a family-run group of care homes. This modern, vibrant care home with great facilities, and a wonderful, supportive team.
Starting rate is £12.90 – 13.50 p/h based on experience, in a supportive environment with excellent learning and development opportunities.
Various shifts / contracts available.

Care experience or Social Care qualifications are desirable for this role, especially experience working with the elderly. A good level of English will be required. You’ll also need to be comfortable providing personal care. What we really need are capable and friendly people who can build a rapport with residents and maintain the high levels of care of this Residential Care Home.

Care Assistant Responsibilities:
* Ensure that service users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing
* To contribute to the efficient running of the service
* Support service users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community
* Ensure care plans and other information about how to support service users are followed
* Be responsible for informing the Senior Care Assistant/Nurse of any changes in the needs of service users
* Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
* Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the service
* Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for service users
* If desired by the service user, maintain and develop relationships with their family, friends and other people important in their life
