Business Development Manager - Field Sales role covering The NORTH WEST & North
A mix of office - home and field based - Niche industry - SME opportunity - Growth
New business role with over 150 previous clients/quotes as a base to start with.
Negotiable basic salary including car allowance - mobile - laptop.
Autonomy and maturity required in this consultative business development role.
The company have been established for a long time now and have an excellent reputation in the languages and translation field.
This role in a nutshell is field sales (initially based 5 days a week from a small office learning what they do and how they do it because no industry experience is needed. This is a niche sector and they are looking to recruit an experienced business to business field sales professional to take them to the next level. Develop a long term pipeline, targeting to start with 2 specific sectors that they have a concrete base in. This is a brilliant opportunity to work towards really building and growing the revenue and turnover of a long established SME and making the role you own. Interviews ideally November 2018 - START ASAP
THE ROLE:
- Field sales - relationship management - new business - business to business and account management - Pro active new business to start 100%
- Targeting two specific sectors where they have built a reputation in.
- Office based in the North West - with meetings off site, exhibitions, events, and client visits. Working up to being predominantly field based.

- You must have a track record of new business success and developing business relationships longer term
- You must be a natural net worker and be able to organise and go get on your own
- Professional - up beat - strong communicator - Happy to almost build something from nothing

- You will be able to commute to near Warrington daily and have a can do attitude
THE PACKAGE:
- Negotiable basic salary
- Sales cycle is a slow burner so commission starts from month 6 onward
- On target plus 10K on top of basic salary
