Media Access Services Manager - (BSL - delivering for the deaf community through 4 streaming giants)

The role: implement a new service for existing streaming service clients in London (W10) | 4–5 days office. Negotiable salary/package - we are looking for specific experience, listed below.

Own and shape a full accessibility function inside a growing media services business working with broadcasters and streaming platforms. This is hands-on, commercially relevant, and visible — not policy, not background. You’ll lead sign language delivery, influence how things are done, and grow a team as it scales.

Must have:
  • Media / broadcast accessibility background
  • Hands-on BSL / sign language services experience
  • Exposure to Ofcom / industry bodies (RNIB or similar)
  • Confident with broadcasters, platforms, media clients

The role: implement a new service for existing streaming service clients. Own and build the accessibility function (sign language first). Deliver properly — not just manage or advise. Be the go-to for clients when things get complex. Make sure briefs, timelines and delivery actually work.

What you’ll do:
  • Build and run the sign language offering
  • Put freelancers / interpreters / partners in place
  • Sense-check briefs early — avoid issues downstream
  • Stay close to delivery and fix problems fast
  • Work with ops/tech to improve workflows
  • Support pitches + represent accessibility externally
