Ambitious, want to learn and grow? We are looking for a part qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA). The EMEA HQ is in Newcastle off Grey Street. We are looking for the right \'person\'. £30,000 - £50,000 base salary. This is just the beginning! Fast paced, agile, growing business with 36 days holiday and a plan to double turnover by 2029. Please note this is a stand-alone role reporting to the EMEA Director, with key visibility to stakeholders and the HQ in China. Role in brief

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance and accounting function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Assist admin team in processing sales and purchase invoices.
• Maintain accurate bank records and cash management including cashflow control and reporting.
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts.
• Post prepayments, accruals and other month-end journal entries.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain VAT records and complete VAT returns.
• Manage year-end statutory audit and accounts process; liaise with external accountants.
• Support the annual budget and quarterly forecast process.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Support development of financial and management reporting systems.
• Support financial elements of property development and management projects.

Qualifications

• Part qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA / CIMA).
