Industrial Contract Manager β€” Waste, Environmental & Industrial Services

Capture the big contracts with brilliant incentives and a negotiable package! No red tape - quick decision making - entrepreneurial mindset - opportunity for growth. International company with SME UK vibes and loads of autonomy!

Package: Negotiable, with excellent benefits β€” genuinely open for the right person!

The role: This is a contracts role with real ownership. You'll take client contracts from first enquiry through to completion β€” planning them, pricing them, delivering them, and closing them out β€” with the autonomy to run your patch the way you see fit.

We're not after a contracts administrator who processes paperwork. We want someone commercial who can sit across the table from a client, negotiate terms that work, keep a project on budget, and walk a site when it matters. You'll be the point of contact clients trust and the person who makes sure the job gets done properly, safely, and profitably. If you like being handed responsibility and left to get on with it, you'll fit in well here.

What you'll be doing:

  • Owning client contracts end to end β€” enquiry, planning, delivery, invoicing, and financial closure.
  • Building project plans with realistic costings and timescales.
  • Preparing, negotiating, and managing contract terms.
  • Keeping schedules and financial performance on track, and handling the unexpected when it lands.
  • Attending site meetings and staying close to the work.
  • Acting as the main contact for clients, site teams, and project managers.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, technical, finance, and legal input to keep everyone pulling the same way.
  • Making sure everything meets the required quality, safety, and compliance standards.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience as a Contracts Manager or similar, ideally in waste management, environmental services, or industrial operations.
  • A solid grasp of contract law, commercial terms, and SLAs β€” and the confidence to negotiate.
  • Track record of managing budgets, cost control, and contract profitability.
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong stakeholder management across clients, subcontractors, regulators, and internal teams.
  • The ability to juggle several contracts at once in a fast-moving environment.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working on your own initiative.

Handy to have: Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and permits, procurement and tendering experience, or contract mobilisation.

Negotiable package: We'll build the right deal for the right person. Great benefits across the board. A business with an SME feel: less bureaucracy, more ownership, decisions made quickly. The chance to shape how the role runs rather than inherit someone else's template.

Apply with your CV and we'll be in touch for a straightforward conversation.
