Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of a Sage 200 data cleanse project, ensuring supplier, product and planning data is accurate and up to date.
- Create, update and maintain supplier records, including contact information, payment terms, lead times and account details.
- Input and maintain supplier pricing information, standard costs and contract pricing within the ERP system.
- Update and validate MRP-related data, including lead times, minimum order quantities, safety stock levels and reorder parameters.
- Work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to identify and resolve data gaps or inconsistencies.
- Create and maintain new part and item records with accurate sourcing, costing and planning information.
- Carry out routine data quality checks and provide progress updates on project completion.
- Maintain supplier documentation, agreements and supporting records in line with company procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the Supply Chain and Procurement teams as required.
Knowledge and Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data sorting, filtering and basic formulas.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Methodical and process-driven approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Self‑motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently when required.
- Previous experience using Sage 200 or a similar ERP system would be advantageous.
- Exposure to supply chain, procurement, purchasing or inventory management environments is desirable.
- Understanding of MRP concepts such as lead times, stock parameters and demand planning would be beneficial.
- Experience maintaining supplier databases, product records or business systems is advantageous.
