Business Development Executive

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Business Development Executive to help drive business growth by identifying, tracking and converting sales opportunities.

You will build strong customer relationships, proactively follow up quotations and projects, and support customers throughout their buying journey while promoting the wider Fluid Water Group portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively follow up quotations and opportunities using the CRM system.
  • Contact existing, new and lapsed customers to generate and develop sales opportunities.
  • Build relationships with contractors, consultants and other key decision-makers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and project information within the CRM system.
  • Provide product guidance and recommendations to customers based on their requirements.
  • Support customers throughout the sales process to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Promote additional products and services across the Fluid Water Group portfolio to maximise opportunities.
  • Knowledge and Skills
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing sales or business development role.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence speaking to customers over the telephone.
  • Experience using CRM systems and general IT proficiency.
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and proactive in identifying opportunities.
