Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield. Immediate start available (subject to interview process).
Salary is £42,000 per annum (depending on experience). This will be working 38 hours per week on a shift rotation:
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6am until 2pm & Friday 6am until 12pm
- Week 2: Monday to Thursday 2pm until 10pm & Friday 12pm until 6pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all plant and equipment within the business areas at site.
- Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and complete follow up actions and issues of concern.
- Equipment and Facilities breakdowns and corrective actions, to minimise downtime.
- New project implementation and equipment installation support.
- Equipment condition appraisal, refurbishment, and continuous improvement activity implementation.
- Responsible for completing and maintaining accurate, timely documentation, records, and reporting.
- Work closely with the Head of Maintenance to ensure the planning of maintenance work within the department is conducted correctly.
- Contribute and drive a continuous improvement culture within their department.
- Knowledge of CMMS system.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
- Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Maintenance qualification.
- Multi-skilled maintenance qualification is an advantage.
- Experience of PLC fault-finding, DC Motor controls and 3 phase electrical equipment.
- In depth knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Engineering knowledge rooted in strong maintenance principles and failure prevention.
- Ability to plan effectively for both projects / maintenances.
