Dutton Recruitment Sheffield Engineering are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor for a permanent position based with our client in York. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Salary is £40,000 per annum (depending on experience). Working hours are 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday with half an hour unpaid for lunch and a 15-minute paid break in the morning and afternoon.
Duties:
- Daily supervision and motivation of a mechanical assembly team
- Mentoring and managing team performance
- Ensure the work is done to the correct standard in as efficiently and safely as possible
Must have:
- Previous experience in a Team Leader / Supervisory role within manufacturing / Assembly / Fitting environment
- Hands-on mechanical/basic electrical fitting experience
- Proven ability to deliver projects to timescales
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
