Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting for Semi Skilled Electrical Fitters for a permanent position based with our client in Nottinghamshire. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Rate of Pay is £16.62 per hour. This will be working 37.50 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday 7:30am or 8:30am to 4:00pm or 5:00pm and Fridays 7:30am or 8:30am to 11:45am or 12:45pm.

You will be responsible for the assembly of copperwork, cabling and basic control wiring within the switchboard.

Duties:

  • To adhere to the Works File information.
  • To refer to and follow the Company Engineering and Test Standards where appropriate.
  • To remain on the job in a productive role.
  • To assist Team Leaders and Production team.
  • To assist the team to correctly interpret drawings as required.
  • To give guidance and support to Apprentices.
  • To discuss opportunities to increase productivity with the Team Leaders.
  • To inform Team Leaders of any urgently required parts.
  • To inform Team Leaders of any concerns regarding parts/build/equipment.
  • To effectively maintain the tidiness, safety and cleanliness of the work areas.
  • Work closely with the overall manufacturing team.
  • Attend Works Team Meetings as required/requested.
  • Attend meetings as required/requested.
  • Responsibility for complying with and implementing the Business management system with their level of activity.

Must have a Level 3 diploma minimum in an Electrical discipline and must have previous experience and be evident on CV.
