Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Salary is £37,320.00 per annum (depending on experience).
Job description:
Reporting to our Engineering Manager, you will manage site maintenance, breakdowns, and servicing at our Sheffield production facility.
Key Equipment Experience:
- Conveyors
- Pumps
- Extraction equipment
- Forklift trucks
Responsibilities:
- Minimise facility downtime via scheduled PPM.
- Maintain accurate site equipment records.
- Fix mechanical plant breakdowns.
- Manage and maintain spare parts stock.
- Coordinate servicing windows with production teams.
- Comply strictly with site health and safety rules.
Required Skills:
- MIG welding and fabrication experience (essential).
- Background in Maintenance Engineering roles.
- Proven track record in fault-finding and diagnosis.
- Basic electrical knowledge (highly advantageous).
- Proficiency with standard PC applications.
