Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Sheffield. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Salary is £45,000 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance). This role is a 2 shift pattern (days and afternoons).
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out installation and maintenance of systems, and ensuring that breakdowns and planned activities are managed effectively.
- Working safely throughout all activities in line with safety standards and procedures, ensuring a full Risk Assessment is carried out prior to undertaking any task.
- Ensuring applicable compliance is maintained.
- Responding to Electrical and Mechanical breakdowns & faults and managing planned & reactive work in a timely and logical manner.
- Using appropriate data and systems to manage the site's electrical & control systems.
- Liaise with and assist in the managing of third party contractors.
- Liaise and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Recognised apprenticeship within Electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of plant control and the use of PLC and control systems is preferred.
- Ability to fault find mechanical.
- Enthusiastic and computer literate, with good interpersonal skills along with the ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised.
