Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for a CNC Turner Machinist for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield. Immediate start available (subject to interview process).
Salary is Β£37,518.00 per annum - inclusive of shift allowance. This will be working days and nights shift pattern, working hours are Days - Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 4:30pm & 7:30am to 12:30pm on Fridays, Night shift is Monday to Thursday 9:30pm to 7:30am.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production times.
Requirements:
- 2 years machining experience with the oil and gas industry.
- Experience of operating CNC Lathes.
- Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle times.
