Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for a permanent position based with our client in Blackburn. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Salary is £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience).
We are looking for people with a strong Mechanical / Electrical background and there would be a mixture of internal and external training. External examples of training would be CAD training and CNC programming and operation as required.
Responsibilities:
- Production of technical and QA documentation to underpin the equipment manufactured.
- Produce innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Have due regard to legislation and British Standards.
- Liaise with the client on designs.
- Carry out stress analysis, including hand calculations.
- Fully cost designs and produce a bill of materials.
- Offer project support in terms of collating and presenting documentation.
- Troubleshoot production problems.
- Produce system layouts and module assemblies.
- Work alongside the production team to ensure a successful delivery.
This will be mostly working on site. Flexibility in regards to start and finish times could be considered for the successful candidate.
