Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are looking for a Semi Skilled Worker with an in date FLT Counter Balance licence for 4 months work in the York area for an immediate start.
Rate of pay is £18.00 per hour for basic hours.
Key responsibilities
- Operating Fork Lift Trucks safely for loading, unloading and transporting materials.
- Preparing components using abrasive equipment including grinders, sanders and finishing tools.
- Assist with deburring, fettling and finishing manufactured components.
- Safely use a range of power tools including drills, grinders, sanders, saws and other handheld equipment.
- Assist CNC operators and fabricators with loading materials and preparing work.
- Carry out basic machine operation where trained.
- Assist with lifting, moving and positioning large fabrications using appropriate lifting equipment.
- Support stock movement and material control throughout the factory.
- Assist with goods inwards and goods outwards activities.
- Support installation preparation and packing of completed projects.
